Mole Assessment
Many of us have moles - most moles are innocent and remain harmless throughout life. Some, however are troublesome - they may be caught on shoes / clothing or be more prominently placed on the body.
Some patients seek the reassurance of having their moles "checked over" for signs of suspicious change. At The Burghley Park Clinic we can help check over moles and discuss how best to manage / remove those that look suspicious or are causing a nuisance.
We use a special photographic process called Spectrophotometric
Intracutaneous Analysis (SIA) dermatoscopy (special photography of the skin)
to assist with the assessment and measurement of the growth of moles.
Follow up
We provide comprehensive reports of all moles screened including their location on computer generated body maps with colour pictures and computer measurements of the size of any moles screened.
